Outdoor ceiling fans
Have just completed a 10m x 7m pergola and want to install ceiling fans. Does anyone have an idea of how many fans would be needed to service this area? Wanted to have an oyster light (or similar) with it. Also is anyone aware of any good brands perferably that don't go "grr grrr grrr grrr grrr" like one I have inside my house?

20 years ago when I fitted out my shop I think I got the info from the SEC but if I remember correctly I had 1.2 m fans set at 3 m intervals and in two staggered rows

Thanks. I found out today that a 56" fan will do a 5.1m x 5.1m area and should be installed at 2.3m from the floor ideally to a maximum of 2.7m. I am going to put a couple in.
