Water traps ...
Hi All,
I'm after some plumbing info. I am currently renovating the bathroom and am after some information on water traps.
I have a bath and shower (grate drain) draining out to the outside wall (down through the floor, directly under the slab and out the outside wall. The drains will eventually run into the vent pipe (100mm pipe - see old pic here http://www.renovateforum.com/attachm...1&d=1194424846).
Now I assume I'll need a water trap between the bath/shower drain and the vent pipe. So my questions are:
1. Is there a limit to the distance between the drain point and the water trap?
2. Is there a minimum volume of water that the water trap must hold?
Any info or suggestions most welcome.
