About a month ago the sewer pipe blocked up and had to get a plumber out with his eel. Problem solved :D

Recently we are having similar symptoms again (early stages though) so I though I would investigate myself, so once again i dropped the camera in to take a few photos of what is going on. These are taking from the inspection point just out side the bathroom looking back up the plumbing towards the bathroom.

Now I notice that the roots are starting to grow but there is something else up there which I just cant identify. Strange thing is that it is on the top of the pipe (i.e hanging down) so it is not blocking anything as all content flows underneath. Could this be some sort of sealant to join to pipes that they went over board on??? Or could it be a nest of some kind, spiders etc???

The section in question is ceramic piping not pvc.

As you can see in the first photo its to far to get my arm up there, the others photos are using the zoom on the camera.

Any thoughts??

Thanks
