Hi there

The house that we are renovating will be mostly french provencial/english country themed. It was built in the 1960's so we have knocked out the kitchen bathroom and laundry. Kitchen is done, we have painted that in Saddlebag (a dulux mid brown colour) the lounge and dining and hall seems to have been painted in a shade similar to hogbristle 1/2 or 1/4 strength it seems, we are thinking of maybe a colour silimar to this for these areas?
The bedrooms...these were a nightmare, they were painted in the most terribly bright yellow, with the skirtings and dor frames, painted in purple...and bright blue and a tourquoise green...which they did about 4 coats of it seems, an absolutle nightmare...however we decided on Taubmans Sheer Hose (a mid-darkish grey) for our bedroom, our babies bedroom and our 3rd room which will be a study/office. The wardrobes were handmade wooden ones made by the original owners (we have actually met the original owners their son bulit our kitchen!!) with deep wooden shelves that ive decied to paint in whisper white dulux, its a creamy antique whit. We will have white beds and white furnture i am thinking in the bedrooms and our sons room we will have a nautical theme to brighten up the room with reds, blues and whites...
My question sorry to be so long winded, is any suggestions or advice on a colour that we can tie in for the bathroom and hall and lounge? If anyone has photo s they are willing to share id love to see them even if you have photos of your sheer hose, we have just painted one room with the sheer hose and it isnt too dark at all (the guy at taubmans said dont paint with it as it will be too dark!) but its a lovely colour that i believe you can really work with ie: brighten with different reds, or blues etc.
Thanks for your time and help in advance!
