    Hi Nick,

Thanks for organising the group buy. As you know, got my toys on Tuesday afternoon from you. I ended up being quite late to my appointment, but they were even later! I waited another 30 mins ... anyways, loev the chisel and will enjoy using it.

I meant to report back yesterday but had the day off work for my 5 y.o's birthday and we took her out of preschool for a surprise to go to Mary Poppins the musical. I expected it to be ok, but be just humouring the girls but it was outright amazing. I don't think I've enjoyed a musical as much as this one. ever

    Thanks again Nick.
    Cheers,
    Dave

    Default Thompson Scrapers

    Howdy

The final parcel of Thompson Tools arrived during the week.
In it was a "monster scraper"

I thought I'd show a couple of piccies of it before it goes to it's rightful owner

    Attachment 187587 Attachment 187588 Attachment 187589

It's pictured with a standard 1 1/4" Thompson and a 1" Sorby for comparison purposes.

    No it is not mine
But it is one extremely serious piece of metal.

PS: I see that it is now sold out

Add the weigh of the handle, that's one heavy tool.

That wasn't the tool they were crying at it was the fact you hadn't sharpened it and were turning with it.
