    Sooo.... now that the dollar is back above parity, did we manage to order when it was at it's absolute lowest, or just bloody close?!?!

    I paid Doug just now - I had to remind him
    By the looks of it the forex etc cost was $22.05 as PayPal have their own system.
    We didn't do too badly, I think it is approx 1.3% more on the US purchase price.

    Sounds good. I've had good results by forcing paypal to pay in the local currency of the supplier, and letting my credit card sort out the exchange rate.

    Mind you, out of my two cards, Westpac leave Paypal fees for dead , but my Credit Union card is excellent
