    Default #3 Birdhouse

This is my 3 rd birdhouse, and my Mother's 89th year birthday gift (25 Jan 2008).
It is 165mm (6.5") tall x 63.5mm (2.5") wide. Top is Black Cherry, and the bottom is Live Oak. Polished with EEE, finished with Shellawax, and buffed.
    Thanks for looking.

Thanks HH and Allan. The bird is mostly made of foam, some feathers, and is colored sorta like a bird (purchased at a craft store). The entry hole is 12.7mm (1/2"), so a real bird "wooden" fit. These ornamental birdhouses are fun to make, and offer excellent turning practice.

    Thanks, y'all.
Maybe a "baby" hummer could fit in that door.
