    Default Amalgam mutt box's

    Hello Folks

    If you’re not familiar with amalgam mutts there a type of pen blank made by a very talented chap in Texas well here's his new range of blanks in larger size's suitable for boxes etc
    <O</O
    Burr and resin mix 2.5" wide by 2 3/8" tall




    Sky blue resin with acorn husks 2.5" x 2.5"

    Can't say that i'm overly impressed with the mateial but very good turning.
    I prefer the o'natural.

    No.2 is my pick. Nice turning.

    The amalgam mutt done with darker colours tend to look better IMHO>

    I love the maroon one for colour and shape on your web site the best, I was also admiring it on the IAP site makes me want to cast some more pine cones, banksia and burl caps for boxes now
