American Ash
Good morning Turners,
I've got a request on the Market Place / Auction dept' for a small piece of American Ash, with no response so far so have decided to come to Wood Turning Central.
What I'm after is a piece, say 50 x 50 x 600 mm, to knock up a couple of tool handles. The reason for American Ash is that that is the wood originally used on these particular tools.
Does anyone know where I could buy some?
Thanks for your time.
Geoff.

Hi Geoff, I have a piece 220 x 290 x 65. I could knock off a couple of bits or you could take as is. I'll send you a PM now.

Thanks Scott.
Evening all,
Scott posted me a piece of American Ash and it arrived this morning. It's friendly, generous people like Scott that keep the wheels on this forum turning smoothly. Thanks mate.
Regards,
Geoff.
