You mean 'English' Ash (Fraxinus) Nick? Not 'Mountain Ash'.
It's widely planted as an ornamental. IIRC Jefferson recently dropped a Claret Ash.
I used to be knee deep in the stuff; loppings by Quercus. Not sure what's left; can look but postage will cost a bomb.
Edit: try some tree surgeons in your area. It'll be green of course but it's pretty stable stuff.Cheers, Ern

Sorry Graham for getting your name wrong.
Doesn't surprise me that you're having trouble sourcing MA blanks in that size. It's good for furniture and that's what the millers break it down for but not so hot for turning; little figure, coarse grain.Cheers, Ern

No worries Graham; it's all this adoption of foreign names that makes things confusing.
I've looked and there's nothing in your dimensions in the stack.
As suggested earlier, ring around a few tree surgeons/loppers/aborists.
Good luck.Cheers, Ern
