    Digger,

    that is a lovely grained piece of Ash and you've achieved a good finish without abrading the grain.

    The first pic could have done with something other than greenery behind it - makes the finial hard to discern I'm afraid.

    Not sure on the finial wood it came from a patio table I have been using for a lot of project never seems to run out

    It seems to have the similar yellow flecks through it,

    Not been very lucky selling my turning but suddenly it is flying out the door before I can take it to any shows. I should not really complain but it does not help as I need some for the stall
