Awtex
OK, so our club has been asked to turn the bases for the AWTEX plaques (although somehow I doubt we're the only ones doing so) and I thought I'd see what other info is currently available on the 'net.
Shock! Horror! Apart from the sponsors list, which includes almost every commercial outlet worth visiting (including our host, BTW ), I couldn't find a single relevant reference! Plenty of links about Javascript and some Asian Women's thing, but nothing about what I know as AWTEX. (Australian WoodTurning Exhibition)
Anyone have any ideas where to look?

I saw something in AWR mag and tried to find more info. "Annual Woodturning and Furniture show" is on this weekend (10th march) at Eastbank Centre, Westford Street, Shepparton, Organiser: Woodturners of the Goulburn Valley. (http://www.woodreview.com.au/diary/ )
However with a bit more poking/googling around it seems this may be the AWTEX you are referring to??? 15-17 june.

If this is the website it doesnt have much info about the show. I even contemplated a trip down from Sydney for a bit of a getaway, but needed more to go on than this;

Relative to the WWW shows this is a small affair but classy. I've been blown away by work shown in the past by Wraight, Marcolongo, Hughes, Potocnik et al.

So, are you placing any entries this year, Ern?
