Banjo
Where can I get a new banjo for a flat bed lathe - I have an old Vanguard lathe which I bought secondhand and the cast iron banjo had been repaired by brazing. I didn't notice it until it gave way this afternoon. I was lucky as it could have been a nasty accident. I'll admit i put some strain on it when a bit of blackbutt with a cranky grain caught on me!!

i would take it to some one that knows what they are doing and get it welded properly might be easier and cheaper than trying to find one

Woodfast has them, if you want to be sure that it wont break again.
