Default Did I get a Bargain???

Just picked up an ELU lathe for 250 bucks in very excellent order. A young lad's grandpa bought it then his eyesight failed so the boy got it and it was too big for his needs. I don't know much about lathes so I'll leave it to the experts to say whether I got it for a reasonable price.
I'll post a pic later when I get home.
    Cheers

Sorry Mick only worth about half that.

    Good little spindle lathe though.

If you need or want a revolving centre for the tailstock I can give you one.

They don't use morse tapers but a lock in type if I remember rightly.

whatever it is - i'll have it mate. Does it come with destructions?
Here's some pics of said lathe. Dunno what the table thin g is but it swings through 90 deg so the face is pointed squarely away from the chuck thing.

Yep that is the centre I have. Pm me your address and I will send it over.

The table I think is used for sanding. You put sandpaper on a disc on the face plate.

Hi Shedhand, I am sure you will have a bit of fun with this lathe, mostly only good for spindle work. I sold one just like it in better nick not long ago for the best price of $130.00. As I said you should have fun.
