Another conductors Baton, with a laminated handle, that was kicking around the shed for a while, I knocked it up a long time ago from offcuts of Silky Oak, Rock maple and Tassie Blackwood. No guesses for which one is which. Not sure if it will get used as it might be a bit heavy. It’s a very straight piece of Rock maple. It feels light to me but then again I am not going to be orchestrating anything as sometimes I can’t organise a p up in a brewery. Anyway, my daughters school band conductor might like to wave it around and if too heavy he can throw it at a wayward wood wind section if they mess up. No box this time.

It’s hanging in the shed curing as the handle was sprayed with 3 coats of acrylic clear. Non yellowing.
