    Talking my biggest turnng (so far)

    had a go at a large bowl today.

    i think the timber is tipuana or sumthing. the log was over 1m accros.

    here are the pics

    16" blank mounted

    roughing complete

    shaping begun (stray saw cut discoverd)

    cut turned away and reverse chucked

    hollowing begun

    Looks like a big'un, Weisy. But then it came from a big chunk of timber.... Saw your lathe in the pics... TL1500? Didn't know Nova made one like that. Gotta be a heavy one. What's the swing on it?
