    Default Bit slow on the forum

    been a bit slow on the forum lately so i whipped this up this morning it is made from two yellow box burls sanded to 400 and finished with danish oil

    Looks good Rhys. Bet you would had have fun sanding the larger bowl on the lathe How are the knuckles?

    That looks super thin for a burl bowl . Must have been pretty tense as you were getting down to the final cuts .

    Just wonder if the inside has been deliberately shaped in a slight wave form?

    To answer all the questions, my knuckles are still bleeding, the walls look thin because i hand carved out some of the thin areas to make some holes and the wave wasn't on purpose and it isnt as wavy as it looks but the camera makes it look very wavy
