    Default Borer holes

I have a decent chunk of Tasmanian Myrtle that is crying out to be turned into a bowl. But is has some very regular rows of small borer holes in it. What do others do to disguise borer holes - or not?

I would just leave them alone. You could also wet sand using Tung oil or Danish oil with 220 or 320 grit, which will fill the holes. Another approach would be to fill with contrasting sanding dust and your favorite glue, this could get tiresome.
So much timber, so little time.

The borer holes are a feature .When you have roughed out the bowl , seal it in a plastic bag and leave it in your freezer for a week to be sure you've killed off any bugs that might still be alive .
