    Default My Bowl

    hello fellow wood turners!!

i am fairly new to wood turning, i picked up some "fire wood" from someones front yard and made this 6 inch bowl, it has a beeswax and mineral oil finish, it is quite heavy, but i don't know what type of timber it is.I would love to know what it is, also would love to be critiqued on the bowl, so i can improve my skills on this ridiculously additive hobby!!

    thanks!!

Welcome aboard Sergio. Turning is a lot of fun and can provide heaps of self satisfaction

Keep practicing and researching bowl shapes and you should go a long way. As for timber, my guess would be Mango

    Cheers
