Default Bowl Gouge ..Half Inch ..Marked ...AX

Have come across a bowl gouge ,half inch .The only markings on the shaft have stamped ...AX
It is a ...V.. formation when viewed from the end elevation, identical to Superflute..(Henry Taylor)
It is as hard as hell to sharpen (Good quality HSS) and holds its edge forever.
Hope someone can identify this (Super Tool).
looking forward to someone who can identify this .Super Tool.
Will try and get some photos tomorrow for closer identification.
    Cheers.
    Steve

    Sounds plausible.

btw, the HT (aka Child) superflute is parabolic or somesuch. So yes, a V shape with old-age sag ;-} Good profile in any case.
    Cheers, Ern
