Default Some kind of Burl Bowl

Hi all, not sure what tree this is from, but great fun to turn. It was already half hollowed out by the termites, who then must have left so the new tenants the ants could move in. Once I evicted the ants it was good to go. Dimensions are 7” x 4 ½” Cheers Harry

The original piece looks like an old branch stub, where the branch has been cut/broken off, then rotted under where the tree has grown over the scar.
