Brisbane wood suppliers
HI eveyone!
I'm in brisbane for a few days and would like to pick up some souvenir timber to take back with me. Transport is no drama as I've got the trusty hilux with me.
Really looking for something new to turn.
Anyone point me in the right direction?

Try David Drescher at South east Queensland Woodturning Supplies at 1/50 Randall St Slacks Creek 4127. He has quite a good range.

cheersAny thing with sharp teeth eats meat.
Most powertools have sharp teeth.
People are made of meat.
Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

Yep David has a good load of blanks.
Exador (Craig Eco Urban Timbers) is a good man, dropped in last Saturday after the markets and had a a bit of a chin wag with him, i don't have a lot of knoweledge timber and he took the time to show me some different woods etc and talked about what I am using it for, I picked up a a few offcuts at a good price, will be heading back very soon when I have some more cash to spend .I like to move it move it, I like to move it.
