Butterfly Natural edge vase.
I have never attempted a natural edge form before and after sorting out some branches of a Brazilian Cedar that I had cut down from the front garden before it got too big I thought that it offered the opportunity to experiment with a bit of thin wall turning and some piercing. Here is the result. Size: approx. 180mm h x 80 dia.

From the title I was expecting a winged bowl, the images quite caught me by suprise.
I think you've created a winner there, It really is beautiful, Care to expand on the texturing effect etc.Dragonfly
No-one suspects the dragonfly!
