    Default anyone keen?

I've turned out a couple of lots of these (pictured)Saurkraut Pounders, used for the fermenting process,
for a friend's daughter, who runs workshops on fermenting Cabbage and other veggies (rivetting, I know).
Every few months, she needs a dozen or so of these, and pays $12 per pounder for them.
I now have a full time job and music commitments, and I'm letting her down by not getting them done in time . .
    Anyone interested in taking over?
Its not much money, but someone that knows their turning (not me)
might be able to make it worth the effort?
I have a sample, a rough template and dimensions, if needed. .

Yes, I made them from Oregon , but thats not essential . . . .
any timber, (preferrably not Pine, although the odd one or 2 would be ok) .
Also, being a food product, no finish is needed

    Slapfest,

I'll have one, thank you very much !!!

Agreed. sauerkraut making may not be as exciting as woodwork, but I was pondering the use of a small jointer to slice them cabbages Mind you, collecting the sliced cabbage could prove a challenge
