Camphor bowl
Hi guys , finally found time to finish my camphor bowl, this is the one with all the very
bad tear out on the end grain , used some sanding sealer and a neg rake scraper and
got a half decent finish then used the 60g gouge
Finished with EEE and glow , about 300mm x 100mm
Any comments and advice welcome as alwaysCheers smiife

Nice bowl smiife. Looking at the photo's I wouldn't guess that you'd had tear out problems, finish looks very good. Learning how to hide/recover form ones stuff-ups is an essential life skill.
