Camphor Laurel
CL branch piece with some half decent colour, spirals oiled and buffed not sure if I will use WOP to add more gloss.

Any chance of a short description about the making process?

Hi Hughie,
Another stunning piece the grain in that piece of camphor really makes the spirals pop looks fantastic.

I prefer a nice baby skin soft finish that I get with Tung Oil or Danish Oil. My buyers seem to prefer that too. I tell them to pick it up and feel it, they do and smile. Some parts of the world like very high gloss. I have found that with more coats and buffing I can get as much gloss as I want with Tung Oil.
Beautiful figure with your usual exquisite workmanship. So much timber, so little time.
