Apparently the trunk is about 600-800mm diameter and the pieces are too heavy for one person to lift. I haven't been down since main trunk was cut down, but I've worked on some of the limbs about 300-400mm. My workshop smells very fresh, and there's no moths to be seen.

Please message me if you want the address.

Hope tea lady and jay h got sufficient - I know I did.

Happy to help cava - the very least I could do given you had the chainsaw ).

(Actually had to roll the car windows down on the way home the scent was so strong...)

Thanks to those who cleared all the pieces and left the area neat & tidy.

Last pieces are now spoken for.

Hi All, free timber is good and I am most appreciative yes I got enough, 3 small slabs 2 not great quality but I couldn't lift the big ones. I am having trouble with Emails t the moment s a PM didn't reach TL on Thursday, needles to say no reply so no Idea what was happening. End result was I went along sat. morning but no one there, pity--would have liked to say hello and lend a hand. Maybe next time. Once again TA. JayH
