Apparently the trunk is about 600-800mm diameter and the pieces are too heavy for one person to lift. I haven't been down since main trunk was cut down, but I've worked on some of the limbs about 300-400mm. My workshop smells very fresh, and there's no moths to be seen.
Please message me if you want the address.

thanks and apologies
Hi All, free timber is good and I am most appreciative yes I got enough, 3 small slabs 2 not great quality but I couldn't lift the big ones. I am having trouble with Emails t the moment s a PM didn't reach TL on Thursday, needles to say no reply so no Idea what was happening. End result was I went along sat. morning but no one there, pity--would have liked to say hello and lend a hand. Maybe next time. Once again TA. JayH
