    Default Camphor Laurel Bowl

    G'Day Folks,

This is a camphor laurel bowl I made yesterday, approx 10" dia by 21/2" high. Finished in No4 friction polish then wax applied with very fine wire wool.

    Regards,
    Cam

Very pretty bowl. I cut some camphor for the first time last month. What a wonderful smell and pretty wood also.

    Hi cam,
Nice bowl, always like working with c.l.
How do you apply the finish wax with wire wool?
    Well done on the bowl

    Smiife,

i use 'oooo' grade wire wool scoop some wax out of the tin with it and burnish the bowl with it, then wipe off all the excess with a rag and then polish it briefly by hand.
