    Default candle holder mk 2

Another slight smaller for 75mm candle in Budgeroo, great stuff to turn and even better to finish. This has just been oiled and will probably leave it at that. Add to that, the heat load/mass of the flame and ignition temperature of the holder are a long ways apart.

    Hello Hughie.
How is the oiled finish for flammability? Or is it OK when dry.

Its a setting oil and the blank was super dry, so it literally disappeared as it went on. Fire, the candle flame would rarely if ever come in contact with the holder

Nice job and nice looking timber, have never come across that before.
