Carba-Tec HM-1A Late Update
Hi All!
It's been a while, but I am slowly getting back in the saddle. My lathe has changed a little since I first started posting my progress here:
https://www.woodworkforums.com/f8/carba-tec-hm-1a-mini-lathe-advice-161402
I've added a set of drawers, rescued from my brother's kitchen reno, and started to improve the simple lift mechanism, by picking up some pillow blocks and will probably make a slide mechanism out of an old plastic cutting board which is made of MHW plastic.
Anyway, progress pics below:

I've got a dust collection nozzle on back order from Carba-Tec to help keep the mess down, so my upgrades are once again starting to get back on track Sadly, I am told that won't arrive until late July at the earliest!!!
