Some lovely items there Ray, makes you want to carve wooden eggs. Some nice White Beech or Silver Ash would make a nice egg. Be nice to do some for easter.

After reading the PDF on the processing of the Meerschaum to a cheese like consistency , I guess it would be easier to carve the Meerschaum than wood but as Hughie says the eggs would seem to be way underpriced .
InterestingI've just become an optimist . Iv'e made a 25 year plan -oopps I've had a few birthdays - better make that a 20 year plan
