    Some lovely items there Ray, makes you want to carve wooden eggs. Some nice White Beech or Silver Ash would make a nice egg. Be nice to do some for easter.

    After reading the PDF on the processing of the Meerschaum to a cheese like consistency , I guess it would be easier to carve the Meerschaum than wood but as Hughie says the eggs would seem to be way underpriced .

    I wish! I'd be happy just to come up with the designs let alone the carving . Easy to see the Turkish influence on Celtic designs when you look at this guy's work.
