Large Cedar Hollow Vessel
Hi All , I made this Hollow Vessel about a Month ago using a Cedar slab that was till wet. It is about 55 cm Diameter after turning off the bulk.
When turning I noticed there was Termites in the wood also rather messy turn & they were still active.
I was happy with the profile shape , I used WoodCut ProForme Hollowing tools to remove the inside, it took about 8 Hours to hollow out.
The end Result came out quite well , with a few surface cracks the Vessel stayed together & sanded up quite nicely.
This is my Largest attempt at a Hollow Vessel Bowl.
