Celtic knot rolling pin
From a “what can this become” moment to how am I going to clamp it together to oh, it’s clamped the wrong way, to holy s—t the glue up just broke, now I just hope it works, and unfortunately the crudely built jig in action was not photographed. Just the finished product.
but I did manage to take one before dismounting

Oh and the timbers are camphor laurel and the know is Blackwood I think.
and wow for something that fell apart, re-glued the know is perfect. The angle was 30deg.

yes and no, its a solid inlay, ie sliced completely through, then glued back, 4 times to get the effect above once turned.
