Tasmanian Oak Burl Lidded Box

Very nicely done. A simple flowing form suits that burl
It's not always easy to get it just right but I think you have.

I like it just as it is. The figure in the timber is enough to give interest. It has a pleasing shape.
On the next one you might try a knob.
As much as I admire the skill in making finials, I do not like them.
My taste runs to bigger things. The smallest I make are tool handles only slightly smaller than my wrist.So much timber, so little time.
