    Default chrissy gifts.

    Gday Folks

a few bit and pieces yet to be wrapped for swimbo's family.

the bowl is a piece of american walnut from rowie (really nice wood to turn) for SIL
the little chisels have been given redgum handles (mallet to follow) for BIL
the little flying saucers for random nephews and nieces are kinda cool, the top and bottom caps are joined through the centre with a dowel so the rim of the saucer spins... I keep one on the kitchen table, it seems to be one of those little oddities that people like to fiddle with.
the bigger one is for a senior, so hopefully the delicate legs will survive.

anyway.. thats my attempt this year at not giving everyone in the family a roling pin

    Beautiful bag of gifts.

Can understand the interest in the saucers, but I would be worried about little hands breaking off the tops. They look great though.

    Ooooer! Frisbees!

Nicely done, mate, they should be appreciated. I've decided that this year my rellies aren't getting any of my handicrafts... instead they'll be getting back the jocks'n'socks they've been foisting off on me for decades now.
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Nice batch of goodies Slow. Love the Walnut bowl. Between me and my old man, our mob have got all the woodwork they can handle so I have to look for 'normal' type gifts - - - PIA
