    Default Christmas Burl

    Good Morning All

I haven't posted much lately, been too busy with work, family and Christmas orders.

I finished turning this very large Jarrah bowl / platter. I believe the burl is one of the most stunning pieces of Jarrah Burl I have turned. I was very nervous for the last couple of cuts when finishing the bottom in case I went to far, or had the thing fly off the lathe.
It is finished with 10 coats of Danish Oil

Cheers and Merry Christmas to you all

    Sincerely
    Willy

Beautiful lump of burl that you've done proud with a simple and elegant design. Love it.
