OK...here you go. Note that the jaw slides ride on 3 v groves on the side...no lateral play.
The taper-lock adapter is way different than the Nova insert. It actually is a taper that locks into the back of body with 3 machine screws. It is the taper arrangement that makes the chuck track true...nice piece of gearCheers,

I prefer the chucks with a key one handed. Though the old bonahams and vicmarks used levers . But the three handed wood turners died out some years back ,or so i was told . Cheers Bob
