    Default chuck adaptor question

    Hi woodturners,
I'm just getting into turning, I've picked up an old wood lathe I think australian made from 1950s.
I found an an old nova chuck, so old the thread is different from new nova chucks!
I need an adaptor between lathe and chuck that I just cant find on the interwebs-
lathe is 1inch 12TPI and needs to match up with the old nova chuck which is 1 3/8inch 8 TPI.
A metal machining shop wants a 3d cad drawing of the adaptor to make which is a bit difficult.
I might just give up on chuck and buy a new chuck that will fit but if you have any ideas that would help me I'd appreciate it.

You need one of these .
Are you sure it's 1"x12? The old Woodfast lathes were 1"x10. If it is 1"x10 see here
Those were the droids I was looking for.
