Default Cindy Drozda making a tool handle Youtube video

While its a bit of a plug for Cindy's aluminium inserts for woodturning tool handles it has very good demo value for the proper use of a spindle roughing gouge and some very good tips on safely drilling on the wood lathe.

One thing I found quite interesting is a product called "Scratch FrEEE" she was using. Seems to be a direct competitor to "UBeaut's EEE Ultra Shine"?

Interesting I have been making own version of her handles for sometime now, using steel inserts. As she mentioned light weight and strong and low cost.
Hmm the polishing wax looks much like EEE as you mentioned. I have found not many turners that are familiar with EEE over the other side of the Pacific.

I like the tail centre she's using. I wonder where you'd get one of those?

Steb centres are available from Uncle Jimmy @ CWS

I use them for all spindle turning and learnt the hard way that they need a soft hand to use with thin bowl whilst removing the spigot
