Knocked down a tree a year or two ago and it was suggested that it's a gorgeous turning timber.
But it also burns pretty nice as kindling
Nah...lovely pale timber that takes a finish like all get out. Have a play and see what ya reckon....
...or give me a lathe...I've got a stack of pieces all sealed up, reasonably dry and ready for a good spinning but with nothing to chuck 'em on (read as: I'm jealous )Every time you make a typo, the errorists win.

I agree with previous comments. I really like the stuff. Can crack easily so cut right away from heart wood. Turns well, sands well, shear scrapes well.
