After the amount of Glitter found hidden on Henry we fear that he may want to be called Henrietta in the future.

The Last Weekend.
Hi to all,
Well I'm a bit late with all this.
Had a great weekend, so thanks to Julie, Ian ( ), Anna-Maria, & to our QLD. Guests.
It was great to meet Everybody on Sat. I'm sorry I can't remember them all, but was said to be up to 25 Forumites at 's. Tags would have been good.
The Demo's were different, & I got to show how I do My Knitting Needles, a bit of a shock to some.
I marveled at all those Lathes in The Shed, 7 I think.
Then we had the Serenaders, in Cliff, TL, Fly.
The BBQ's were good, & thanks to R & J, as they let me stay the night, as I thought it was a bit to much to pack up & drive home.
I have been having a bit of trouble with my Hi-ace Van, but it came up trumps, over the weekend.
Now for the longer trip to Horsham this weekend to " You Turn ". So will see some of them again.
Thanks again, may do it again some time.Regards,
issatree.
Have Lathe, Wood Travel.

Looks like a good time was had by all! Pity we missed it, dammit.
Hmmm... I don't suppose there's any chance of someone nailing Cliffy's foot to the floor for a month or two until we get back (for a re-run)?

Too late.
There will be another one, that one only just scratched the surface. (punny)
We did colouring & texturing to death & a little bit of inlay & burning but we didn't really blacken or char anything & we didn't do any sculpting &/or carving.Cliff.

Just to dig this thread up again, here is the reason for wanting to do a workshop on decorating turned work.
This link takes you to post 19 of the thread but it is the one with the photos of the finished turning & the tools I made for the job.
