    Default The R / G Burl.

    Hi Cliff,
I'm sorry, but of all the 87 species I have, I don't have any Red Gum Burl.
    Maybe someone has some.
Maybe I should not have brought it up ?.
    Regards,
    issatree.

Ok, we have one suggestion for off centre turning.

Was that spindles such as a club foot or cabriolet leg or something like a pendant?

I'm interested in doing decorated platters... I'm currently going through all my old Woodturning Mags cutting out the good bits.
I plan to put them through the scanner before I stick the in a folder so I'll have them in .pdf format soon.

Burning, carving, texturing, colouring, piercing, bleaching, inlaying, casting, gilding, painting, bending, stamping, lacing, embossing, branding, what else can we do to it?

Would it not be funny if you all show up dressed as wood faries.
