    Default clock

Earned a few brownie points with SWIMBO she has been asking for a wall clock for some time now and it was a sure way to get some extra shed time
Got the movment from GPs great service it arrived in 3 days from order
The rim of the clock is 200mm and the outer dia is 350 about 40mm thick
the Camphor laurel is an offcut from a bench top slab (would have loved to get the good bit) it is sanded to 400 and sealed with N/C sealer and then EEE wit 3 coats of Glow to finish
and I got to spend the rest of the day in the shed

Lovely work--would have loved to see the "good bit" of the CL as the offcut is spectacular.

    Nice!

But do you think it wise to give her something to check your shed-time with?
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.
