Default Coat hook, and your phone ,keys, wallet, hat...all in one

Here a use for that lump of fire wood.
Make a coat hook with a hole for all your extras. I just love it
Saw one like it on the net the other day made from plastic and liked the idea but not the martial and then the council was taking down a dead tree 30 meter down the road so I grab this log before it got mulched. So I made me self one.
Thought by posting it here others might save a log

Can anyone tell me what the timber, is it is a gum

Interesting idea Not sure how many homes it would suit but it would have a place somewhere!

    Definitely horses for courses

Another plus I found this morning is that you do not get that bump in the coat That make you look like your a hunch back in miniature from the more pointed coat hooks.

Oooer! A few of them in a row'd also work well for our hats!
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

I love it. There are gobs of small modifications to fit differing styles and needs. One could be cut in half to reduce the work and make two with open tops. Ten could be mounted on a board aligned vertically and every one could have a small lid. That would keep small children busy for hours. And you would always have a project to turn because they would always loose one of the lids. Now you've done it.....
