Coloured box
Not done much in the way of turning lately.
This is a piece that I started at the beginning of the week but went wrong a couple of times and had to repaint it. The main pod is Ash and the ring stand is cherry. The wife thought I was making a lemon well with all the problems I felt like one.

That's an interesting lemon.
It does look a little bit like a lemon when the mould has grown fully. Maybe you should give it a name to the effect and see if anyone wants to purchase it?
We all have those days that everything seems to just go a little off track. I commend you on your persistence.

That pod looks like the real thing Derek and the paint job is superb sir, well done especially with your recent run of very cold weather. Cheers, Peter
