A couple of Bowls I finished today.
Segmented bowl is mainly Jarrah, the feature ring is Yellow Walnut, Padauk, Fake Ebony (made by me), and Maple veneer. Measures 11" x 5"
There are 1214 pieces, it was sanded to 400 and finished with wipe on poly.
No 1 is Curly Jarrah and is 11.5" x 4".
No 2 is Curly River Red Gum and is 10.5" x 2.5" Both of these are 400 an WOP.
Thanks for looking and I hope you like them.
C & C welcome.
Bob

Excellent stuff Bob. Can I ask why everyone seems to stop sanding at 400 grit or 600 grit like most guys on Youtube. Surely if you are going for the high polished look it should be sanded to at least 1200 grit, or am I missing something?
