    Default A couple of Jacaranda bowls

    Here is a couple of bowls both with a touch of natural edge what do you think.

    I like them very much!

    What was the diameter of the tree as I have some jacaranda? Also, what did you finish them with?

    Very nice bowls.the square one is the standout for me. It's a nice Timber to work with.

    Hi Guy's,
    Yes Chuck1 it is very nice to work with comes of the chisel very well the main thing with square bowls to me is to try to keep the thickness even which is always evident at the edge. Mick these were from a branch and it was about 200mm dia the finish is sprayed lacquer and danish wax.

    The square one is really nice. I have done these a few times and understand that it can be tricky sometimes. I would prefer the edge of the round one to show a little more flat before the edge of the natural bowl.
