    Default A couple of turnings

    Hi everyone,

A couple of turnings, The first is Blackhearted Sassafras, a birthday for my sweetie. Sans foot 260mm in diameter. The White Top second a burl from Brad's Burls 80mm high, the foot is the tenon for the chuck finished, and the last a piece of Silky Oak an attempt at getting something out of a square block. This was the most difficult as the legs were hard to finish. All finished with EEE and Glow.

    Thumbs up Some nice work...!

    Hi Sebastiaan56,

Pleasant lines on all pieces, good selection of timbers and nicely finished.
I'm impressed with that EEE and Glow, I have to find somewhere close where I can buy some, and have a go at it.

    Cheers

Nyodine, if you can not get Ubeaut products locally you can get it on line from the Ubeaut site. I reckon that they are terrific stuff!

Nice work, you've chosen shapes that compliment the wood used
