    Nope, Y'all - Of the five cats, one was squashed by a tree (khaya senegelensis I believe) two had kittens, one left town and the other is still up there somewhere.

    But seriously, I have rellies (Ausspeak for relations) near there and no deaths or serious injuries. Lots of structural damage, but who cares about that except the insurance companies.

    Apparently no major or serious injuries anywhere. However, with the electricity supply out, and no running water or sewerage, things may be unpleasant for a few days for the people up there.
